Research at the Open University

We have collected data from many meadow sites over many years. All this data is being assembled into the ‘Meadows’ database. The interrogation of this database enables us to understand changes in botanical communities with reference to a range of different parameters including climate change, site management, changes to site hydrology and soil nutrient status. It is the basis for much of the research carried out within the University on meadows. Click here to go to the meadow map which shows data held on each site.
