Simon is an advisor on nature conservation for the National Trust and has undertaken botanical and hydrological monitoring on Long Meadow. The meadow is botanically rich, primarily MG4 grassland, grading into MG5 and MG6 in the drier margins, with MG8 grassland and some MG9 in the wetter areas. Read more about his study site here.
