Join us for a free creative workshop celebrating the beautiful snake's-head fritillaries and their pollinators found at North Meadow National Nature Reserve.
We are working with Alice Walker, who was one of the winners of our 2021 floodplain meadow calendar competition. Alice also designed and steered the production of the wonderful floodplain meadow weavings in 2023, working with a number of community groups in Oxfordshire, our conference delegates and through two family days at the Oxford Museum of Natural History. Alice has agreed to come and help develop both a community piece of art work and also offer ideas to create individual pieces.
The workshop will be help from 10.30 am to 3 pm at Cricklade's Jenner Hall https://jennerhallcom.wordpress.com/
There will be a short talk at the start of the day from the Floodplain Meadows Partnership, highlighting the fantastic information that is collected through our annual volunteer counting activity, and then Alice will talk us through the days events.
Refreshments and cake will be available, but please do bring a packed lunch.
Whilst this is an all day event, you are welcome to come for a shorter time - but please do let us know if this will be the case.
Please RSVP through this form to let us know you are coming https://forms.office.com/e/CMx5bnFFRc
